As a small gift to those of you out there who enjoy my CimplX Designs, I have brought August's Update a few days early!

Also, as a small note on the design, I have added notes in the CSS coding to make the design Fluid, instead of fixed. You can preview the fluid version as well. A link is in the preview.

You may have noticed some links are gone, such as "Hosting" and "Personal Blog"... I have temporarily removed these, so I can focus on the core of the site and improve the functionality and scripting of the site. These pages, assuming you even care, will be back in the future. As a small note, I am fully intending to keeping to at least one new design per month. So as to adhere to this schedule, I have already completed another design for next month's update.

In case you're wondering, I can assure you I have not just been sitting around on my butt this whole time. For the past 9 months, I have been attending 2 full-time colleges, and working 2 part-time jobs... I know, it sounds almost impossible... Turns out it is, lol.

I have transferred schools, and I've got a better paying job with fewer hours. This means I am down to 1 full-time school, and 1 part-time job. This means HayalKarga will be getting the much needed attention I have been wanting to devote to it for the past year.

I've already got 1 new DX-Design on line-up for the next update. I'm also going to finally finish AnimeShotz. I am either going to fix the current site theme on IE, or make an entirely new one. I will also add some new Avatars, HK's definitely due for some, lol. As well as a new tutorial.

Man, I am so sorry guys. Please stay tuned in though, because my new goal is at least 1 new DX-Design a month.

This is the first thing I am planning to complete on my to-do list, lol.

I am still working on the big surprise feature for you guys, but school and work is kicking my butt. Phew. Anyways, I am currently still working on adding the features, but first, I am *attempting* to make the site scripts more simple and easy to edit for the changes.

Sorry it's been so long guys. Also, I haven't made any designs with my new computer; maybe I am just too scared to use it for designing. *sweats nervously*.

Anyways, I am getting a lot better with time management, since I have to, considering I have two full time colleges, one part-time job, and surprisingly, a life...

Updates I expect to implement within the next month include, but are not limited to: The *Suprise*, at least 1 DX-Design, at least 1 CimplX Design, a Premium Designs section, a new site theme, simpler site display and coding, a personal blog, better integration with the gallery, a few avatars, and maybe something else along the way.

I was actually going to make it the new site theme when I started, but as I moved along I decided it would be better suited as a DX-Design. I am pleased withg it, and I hope you guys are as well.

I do have a new surprise I am working on for you guys, and I think it's very nice and original; at least for a free design site. I'm not going to give it away, but I am excited to make it available. I know... The suspense is killing you, sorry :x.

I also intend to have either a new theme pretty soon though, or alter the current one to look better in some areas, and add some pages. I have decided "Ice Flowers" will be HayalKarga's official "symbol", and maybe crows since "Karga" means "Crow" in turkish.

On with other news: We have a bundle of new link exchanges at HayalKarga, and I would like them to feel very welcome. So Welcome! :D

Due to the recent design thefts not too long ago, which did include some of my designs, I am going to be adding new disclaimers to all of my old designs. Apparently, a disclaimer does a lot for an artists' protection of stolen creations(I know, I should have known.).

Anyways, long story short: All designs will have disclaimers added, edited to be xhtml/css valid, and I might completely alter some of the older ones to make them, in my opinion, better. Either way, the old versions will also still be available for download with valid code and new disclaimers.

I am in the process of making more designs for the site, so be sure to stay tuned in for future updates. ;)

I'm still without internet, but I am supposed to get internet hooked up in about 5 days, which is exciting. I can't wait, because I haven't had internet since I moved to my new place.

New Link Exchange: Reminiscent Designs

Another small update is that HayalKarga is soon going to merge networks with OtakuScion.com. There are still going to be plenty of DX-Design releases. We are simply merging to help address a general area of online viewers, looking to improve web skill and development. So when the merge is complete, I hope you guys stick around and give us your comments.

And one last note: future content. I am currently writing articles for DayDreamGraphics(DDG). Every article I publish there will be available and posted on HK as well, so you can read from either site.

Luckily I lined up a couple of designs before I went on my little vacation, so I added one new cimplx design for you guys! :) I have one more DX-Design made for you, and should be available next week for download.

Today I also took my CNA exam, and passed *yay*. So I am going to apply at a couple of hospitals and nursing homes for a job tomorrow, on top of other errands. (wish me luck). And in August I am going to start my LPN classes, and hopefully in less than a year I will be a fully licensed nurse :).

Summer should be fine as far as designing goes, but when I start LPN classes.... it's gonna be hectic giving you guys releases :s, sorry. No worries till then though, I'm still here!

Last week I had one design lined up for you, but right now I have 2 designs lined up for you guys. I am going to release one per week or so. So no worries, just stay tuned in.

I know most of you don't keep up with AnimeShotz, but if you do, I'll let you know you should check out the new site design. All comments are appreciated, although I am still implementing it.

Other than more designs, please be sure to look forward for a few more avatars, even though I'm not very talented with avatars. As well as a new DX-Design Tutorial may be available soon, which will cover implementing XML Links.

I also will be removing the shoutbox, since no one uses it really. And I will be adding a Forum, as well as a PHPBB skin section(possibly). your feedback would be appreciated on that decision.

The new DX-Design is actually a public DXD of the first network design, titled "Gray Illusion". It's been so long I'm sure no one remembers it, and once you see it you will probably get a flush of memories.. It also has 4 banners in it, so you can switch your site up a lot, but if you only want one that's kewl too.

Also added 3 new avatars, no biggie though.

And as for other sites, I finally fixed AnimeShotz up so the site works in ALL BROWSERS, w00t! Also, added some images, and plan to add more. So be sure to check it out, or add screenies of your own, they're all appreciated :)

Which brings me to the next part on this agenda of updates-ish. I have been away due to severe overload of work, sorry guys, I attend two schools for a total of 32 hours a week, plus work :(. Despite the delays though, I will attempt to get back on the sattle ;)

As it stands, I am going to continue HayalKarga and animtshotz, and close down imathemes, unless someone wants to take over that site as an admin, which is an open position. And help with getting screenies for AnimeShotz would make me happy as well, but I'm good either way :)

I set a new personal record... I've made like 5 designs in the past 2 days... a record for me. They are all site themes though, not really for release. I made a new theme for imathemes, animeshotz, and my portfolio. I just gotta take the time to implement them...

I am fairly excited for the next time I design, because I finally got my lazy butt to make new brushes and textures to work with.

Alright, to start things off I finally did some avatars, and more than one! I lso made a new DX-Design for you guys, I hope you guys like it.

The DX-Design is based off the series "Monochrome Factor", and all 3 avatars are from "Nabari No Ou".

The new DX-Design is meant to be a bit "professional". So sorry if you're disappointed there isn't your favorite anime character in it. I wanted to add some content that can be used for websites more interested in looking all business-like and such.

Although I added two designs this week, which is usually 2x more than I usually add in one week, this update seems small... It's probably because I haven't added a gallery series in almost two weeks, but there will be more gallery entries added soon, so no worries!

I've been very busy this weekend with my portfolio site, ethelex. Feel free to check it out. The new design is 100% flash, and is oober neato.... but man, flashing like that is a total pain! no worries though.

The new theme is titled IceFlowers. I got the inspiration for it from a song by York, which I will upload for you guys to listen to later; it is a truly inspirational song.. for me anyways.

I made the flowers in the banner myself in Illustator :) However, I couldn't have done it without the help of the tutorial provided by ndesign-studio. Their "Vector Flower In Illustrator" tutorial is the tutorial I followed to make the flowers.

It will be a few days before everything is 100% initialized, but I hope you guys like the new theme ;)

I'm still working on the code, some of you may have even noticed a few server errors while browsing the site. Sorry about that, things will be alot better soon :)

Tutorials! well, there's only one in there right now, but even that took me almost two hours because I tried to make it as easy to understand as possible.

Alright, we are saying goodbye to two things now, but not for good: Forum and wordpress themes.

The forum was XMB, but due to recent changes in the software we will not long be using it. However, I am currently helping manage grphics for an upcoming forum software; it's gonna be awesome. I just can't tell you more about it though, sorry.

And, wordpress themes will be available again when ImaThemes is properly initialized.

Donation: You may have noticed the new "PayPal Donate" button in the navigation sections... well, don't feel obligated, but I would really appreciate any help. Alright, I am busy graduating, so sorry for not having any tutorials for you. I have been busy writing my salutatorian speech(that means I am 2nd rank in my class). Just lots of work, anyways...

Soon the WordPress themes will be taken down, but not for good. I just bought a new domain today: ImaThemes. There, I will release many different themes for 3rd party programs, and I will make registration available so you can submit your themes as well.

That won't be ready for a while though. Oh, I'm also working on a tagboard, that should be up by the next update... I think that's it, have a nice day!

Basically I have been busy, and have gotten almost nothing productive, other than the new theme, complete. Sorry guys, but since this is my last week of High School, I should have more time to work on things hopefully. Stay tuned in!

Firstly, I want to let you guys no I will not be converting any of the current DX Designs to WP themes. It's just too much of a hastle to go back and convert them, when there are other things that should be done. However, if you would like to request one of the DX Designs to be converted, or would like to convert one yourself and release it; feel free to do so and post on the forum.

Now for the new design genre. CimplX Designs, being coined as "CX Designs", are designs made completely without images. or if images are used, they will be kept to a minimum. In fact, the first CX Design, "Seafoam", is only 2.47 KB! That means even a dial-up connection malfunctioning will load the entire page under 2 seconds! I add the "!" because I am excited about it, and I think it's neat.

More to come: Well, currently I intend to add web icons, textures, brushes, and tutorials.

I was given a request to make a tutorial on making DX Designs. I am currently in the middle of writing that tutorial, and coding tutorials into the site.

I've been working like crazy, so much to update about! I also changed the link styles on the site, to cut down on .htaccess usage(which can crash your server and open exploits if you use it carelessly). So now the site is safer. I want to add a tagboard, which I may do fairly soon. If there's anything I missed, just let me know. Thanks for visiting!

I was planning on having a new WP theme for this update for you guys, but.... Well, I converted DXD02 - "Memory's Pathway" into a WP theme, but I realized some designs just shouldn't be turned into WP themes.... So I will convert DXD03, 04, and 05 some other time and make them available to you.

Not much else, except still cleaning up the site coding all over, and soon will be adding comments for updates and designs.

I converted DX-Design 01 into a wordpress theme, and also editted the design itself to comply with XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1 appropriately. Although I haven''t set them up for download yet(sorry guys). All of these things should be available within a couple of days, as well as other WP themes and conversions.

Other than that, just ignore any design flaws and odd pages/links for the next couple of days, but you might even like laughing at them. lol. Anyways, cya guys later ;)

Aside from that, HayalKrga officially now has a gallery! The gllery is a mix of screenshots I take and clean on Photoshop, and mnga scans. Right now there isn't much in the gallery, but periodically it will grow.

Soon to come in the future are Network Designs... okay, now you're like "what's that?". Well, t first our network designs will be the same as the DX-Designs we already have available, except they will have forum themes and blog themes to go with them. Yup.

I currently have to clean up the current DX-Designs, but once I do all releases on HK will have forum theme snd blog themes to go along with the design, so you can build an entire network off our designs. Also, these designs will ll be XHTML and CSS valid.

Sorry to inform you, but no new design at the moment. But I plan to have a new one released soon, I'm just so blasted busy. Not that many people have been browsing the site to begin with; speaking of which, RSS has finally been integrated into the site. This is a big step that I've finally taken. It hasn't been that I'm too lazy to do it, RSS for some reason always confused me. But now that I know how to operate RSS, I feel stupid for not using it sooner.
